Audrey Michels’ academic history transcends traditional disciplinary lines, with a Bachelors in Comparative Literature from the American University of Paris and a Masters in Irish Writers from Trinity College Dublin. That, paired with basic knowledge of object-oriented programming languages and digital design skills brought gave her a unique voice in both academic and startup circles. The variety of her experiences inform such passions as new media publishing and computational creativity.
Since 2016, Audrey has been a research assistant to Dan Gunn, editor of the definitive collection of Samuel Beckett’s letters, and is working with him on collecting materials from university archives, formatting and editing those materials, creating visual presentations for academic conferences around the world, and assembling sample pages in InDesign for a new project that is to be presented to publishers later this year.
In her spare time, Audrey enjoys watching other people’s pets and growing flowers from seeds on her windowsill.
